Romans 12:1-2

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - This is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform an longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and aprove what God's will is -- his good, pleasing, and perfect will.

Meet the Parents

Well this past Saturday was "Meet the Parents" day for me. Angie's parents came into Saginaw from Caro for dinner, which Angie made. Dinner, Russian Chicken, was great and her parents were fun. We had a great time together. We played games and laughed together, just like we do at my parents house. I felt very at home with Angie's parents. They are very cool parents! I can definitely tell where Angie gets her humor and excitement for life. I am looking forward to spending more time with them in the future. And of course more time with Angie!!

Angie did make angel hair pasta for dinner for us tonight, with leftover rolls and a sliced up pear. It was very good. Thanks Angie!

Hi Everyone! Since Chris doesn't seem like he is going to respond, I will fill you all in on Valentine's Day. I don't want to keep you in suspense anymore. :) Well, since I had class on Valentine's Day, Chris decided to do Valentine's Day on Friday. He had wonderful plans to go to a romantic restaurant. He even had it worked out so that they were going to specially make a sugar-free desert for me. Unfortunately, life happened and plans had to be changed. We ended up going over to his parents' house for pizza and games with the fam. It was a lot of fun! Don't get after him about it too bad though because it was not his fault. We had a great weekend anyway. Sunday we went to a Newsboys/Kutless concert which was amazing. It was so much fun! So there you go! That is the story. :)

And Jenny, you're probably right. I probably should get my own blog! :)
